Gi Group are looking for a resilient candidate with counterbalance experience who is willing to work in a warehouse-based role. They will support the seed cleaning process by operating machinery, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, and contributing to the efficient production of high-quality clean seed.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Operate seed cleaning and intake equipment as instructed, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  2. Follow set procedures to clean seed and minimise screening losses.
  3. Communicate effectively with team members and Senior Operatives regarding work progress and any issues.
  4. Assist in monitoring clean seed quantities and movements as directed.
  5. Maintain a clean and tidy work area, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld.
  6. Carry out basic maintenance tasks and report faults or issues with machinery promptly.
  7. Follow all safety procedures and work in line with the company\’s Health & Safety Policy.
  8. Assist in maintaining a safe working environment by reporting hazards and adhering to safe working practices.
  9. Handle materials in line with all company and legal guidelines.
