QA Auditor to join a busy and well-established meat processing factory in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with experience in quality assurance, food safety, and compliance within a food production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting quality checks throughout the production process
- Monitoring food safety, hygiene, and GMP standards
- Completing audits and quality documentation accurately
- Identifying and reporting non-conformances
- Ensuring products meet customer specifications and company standards
- Conducting temperature, weight, and quality checks
- Supporting production teams to maintain compliance
- Assisting with internal and external audits
- Promoting a culture of quality, food safety, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Previous QA, Quality Control, or Auditing experience within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and confidently within a fast-paced environment
- Experience within the meat industry is desirable but not essential
