My client a large international manufacturing company has a vacancy for a Manufacturing Operator working an early and back shift at their Perth location

Manufacturing Operator

  • Monday to Friday = 6:00am - 2:30pm and 1:30pm - 10:00pm = 40 hours per week
  • 6 months with possibility for extension Temporary Assignment
  • Manufacturing experience would be highly beneficial

Manufacturing Operator

You are required to following Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and capable of keeping up with a fast- paced collaborative environment. and Team is dynamic

What will a Manufacturing Operator do

  • Inspects material, products and containers at each set up of production process.
  • Inserts or pours product into containers or fills from spout or chute.
  • Obtains and sort product.
  • Wraps protective material around product.
  • Weighs containers and adjusts quantity.
  • Closes and seals containers.
  • Labels containers, container tags, or products.
  • Packs special arrangements or selections of product.
  • Line Clearance - responsible to reconciliation and disposal of materials related to the job.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed.

Manufacturing Operator Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel beneficial.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to new schedules in environment due to priority changes
  • Ability to collaborate and work with other team members in a team-based environment
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and react appropriately to changing priorities and impending deadlines
