Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced
FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse & Yard Operative to join their busy operations team based in Penistone. This is a hands‑on role combining forklift operation with general warehouse and yard responsibilities, offering variety and the opportunity to work as part of a supportive and established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently
- Move, store and organise stock within the warehouse and yard
- Carry out general warehouse and yard duties as required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations
Candidate Requirements
- Valid, in‑date accredited Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- Previous warehouse and/or yard experience
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable, hardworking and professional attitude
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
