Gi Group are seeking Multi Skilled Operatives to work for our client based in Hull, within a busy 24/7 manufacturing environment. Our client operates a continuous process plant, producing specialist products through fusion, crushing, grinding, drying, blending and bagging activities. If you're looking for a hands-on role with real variety and long-term opportunities, this Multi Skilled Operative position could be perfect for you!
Working hours: Rotating 12-hour shifts on a 3-week cycle, averaging 40 hours per week:
- Week 1: 2 x 12-hour days, 2 x 12-hour nights (commencing Monday)
- Week 2: 3 x 12-hour days (commencing Wednesday)
- Week 3: 3 x 12-hour nights (commencing Sunday PM)
Shifts run from Sunday nights through to Friday days.
Location: Hull - you must be able to reliably commute for 12-hour day and night shifts.
Rate of pay: £30,172.09 per annum

Purpose of the role: The purpose of this role is to support the safe and efficient running of a 24-hour process plant. As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will be responsible for operating production plant and equipment, handling raw materials and finished products, and maintaining accurate production and quality records while working to strict health and safety standards.
Duties include:
- Operating production plant and equipment, including fusion, casting, crushing, grinding, drying, blending and bagging machinery.
- Using counterbalance FLT and other mechanical handling equipment.
