About the Role: Manufacturing Operator at a large international manufacturing company, Perth location. Responsible for carrying out the production process by following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instruction Documents and blueprints or drawings for assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods packaging.
Working Hours: Record weight, time and date of packaging. Start, stop, and supervise conveyor speed; assist with equipment validation. Read and interpret work orders to set up material on the production line and verify quantities. Inspect material, products and containers at each setup of the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Insert or pour product into containers or fill from spout or chute.
- Obtain and sort product; wrap protective material around product.
- Weigh containers and adjust quantity; close and seal containers.
- Label containers, container tags, or products.
- Sort bundles or filled containers; pack special arrangements or selections of product.
- Inspect material and product configurations during each packaging setup.
- Perform line clearance, reconciliation and disposal of materials related to the job.
- Clean and sanitise work areas, machines, glassware or equipment as needed.
Follow ISO/cGMP Quality System Regulations with focus on SOP completion accuracy, product quality and housekeeping.
