We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our client. You will be instrumental in the fabrication and welding of bespoke metal components, contributing to high-quality engineering projects across a range of sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Fabricate metal structures and components using MIG welding techniques
- Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders
- Measure, cut, and assemble steel and other metals to exact tolerances
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in welding and fabricating within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Fabrication & Welding or equivalent certification preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Skilled in MIG welding; additional welding methods a bonus
