We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Coventry on a night shift pattern. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of our production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure technical availability of production machinery and facilities
- Perform first-line fixes to minimise downtime and support production continuity
- Maintain equipment to TPM schedules and improve machine uptime using OEE data
- Support building services and participate in improvement projects
- Mentor apprentices and provide technical advice when needed
Requirements:
- HNC in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering
- 18th Edition electrical wiring qualification (advantageous)
- Experience with PLC fault finding (S5, S7, TIA Portal), safety systems, and control panels
- Minimum 1 year in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing setting
- Strong knowledge of electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, and machining technologies
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively under time pressure
