Warehouse Operative in Lichfield (WS13) with immediate starts available. Gi Group is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative working for a major salad production company in Lichfield (WS13).
Working Schedule:
- 4 Shifts On, 4 Shifts Off (Fixed Shift Patterns)
- Day Shift: 06:00 - 18:00
- Night Shift: 18:00 - 06:00
Rates of Pay:
- Day Shift: Basic Pay £13.00 per hour, Overtime Pay at Time & 1/2 (£19.50 per hour)
- Night Shift: Basic Pay £15.00 per hour, Overtime Pay at Time & 1/2 (£22.50 per hour)
- Overtime Premium after 48 Hours.
About the Role:
Our on-site Logistics Department deals with picking and loading/unloading lorries within our manufacturing facility. This is a highly active and physical role that involves manual handling, lorry loading and more. Candidates will receive full training and have the opportunity to gain operational experience.
Key Information Needed to Fulfil the Role:
- Warehouse / Logistics experience preferred but training provided.
- Capable of using scanning guns.
- Reliability.
- Good English level and written communication skills.

- General Warehouse Duties.
- Scanning and picking salad products.
- Using pallet trucks.
- Loading and unloading lorries.
- Knowledge of using scanning guns.
- Following order sheets.
