Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal structures and components from scratch
- Use MIG welding techniques on gauges up to 100mm
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotines, press brakes, rollers, and grinders
- Measure, cut, and assemble steel and other metals to exact tolerances
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in fabricating and welding within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Welding certificates or equivalent qualifications preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Skilled in MIG welding; additional welding methods a bonus
Package Offered:
- Day Shift – Up to £18.00ph depending on experience (07:00 – 16:00 Monday – Friday)
- Night Shift – Up to £23.00ph depending on experience (18:00 – 04:30 Monday – Thursday)
