We are seeking a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our client in Nottinghamshire. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and maintaining a wide variety of products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fit electrical components according to specifications.
- Carry out wiring, panel assembly, and integration of electrical components.
- Test units to ensure compliance with electrical standards and performance requirements.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults during assembly and testing phases.
- Work with low and medium-voltage components safely and efficiently.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment competently.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues quickly.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter, Panel Wirer, or similar electrical assembly role.
- Strong understanding of electrical diagrams, schematics, and wiring schedules.
- Ability to use electrical test instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and continuity testers.
- Good problem‑solving skills and a methodical, quality‑focused approach.
- Must hold a qualification or certification in electrical installation, electrical engineering or something similar.
