Pay Rates:

  • Standard: £12.21 per hour (rising to £12.33 after 12 weeks)
  • Nights: £12.51 per hour (rising to £13.21 after 12 weeks)

Role Overview

  • Accurately scan and sort parcels according to destination
  • Build crates, palletise parcels, and ensure items are securely prepared for dispatch
  • Support the safe, efficient operation of the warehouse as part of a collaborative team
  • Utilise strong attention to detail and follow written instructions to achieve high standards
  • Flexible shift patterns available, with variable start and finish times dependent on workload and parcel volumes

Key Requirements

  • Able to communicate confidently in both spoken and written English
  • Capable of understanding and following scanning, labelling, and sorting instructions
  • Physically fit to handle manual tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to working Sundays (our busiest day), with flexibility across all 7 days
  • Reliable and punctual, with a positive approach to teamwork

Shift Patterns

  • Inbound: Start times between 11am - 2pm
  • Twilight: Start times between 2pm - 5pm
  • Nights: Start times between 8pm - midnight
  • Days: Ad hoc, usually from 9am

Shifts typically last 5-9 hours; longer hours may be required during peak periods. Due to the nature of the operation, start and finish times cannot be guaranteed in advance and will vary according to workload, so a flexible approach to working hours is required.
