Pay: Days £16.15ph
Day Shift Operators (4 on 4 off, 12-hour shifts, 6am - 6pm)
Key Responsibilities:- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials against documentation
- Label, store, and organize raw materials according to SOPs and storage requirements
- Issue raw materials to production per work orders and batch records
- Accurately record material movements using inventory systems or manual logs
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts
- Ensure materials are handled in compliance with GMP, EHS, and safety standards
- Operate material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) if certified
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of raw material storage areas
- Identify and report damaged, expired, or non-conforming materials
- Support audits and inspections as required
- Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices
- Warehouse or manufacturing setting
- May require PPE (safety shoes, gloves, gowns, etc.)
- Physical role involving standing, walking, and manual handling
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
- Ability to lift and move materials (typically up to 40-50 lbs)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in material handling, warehousing, or manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of GMP or regulated environments is an advantage
- Basic computer and documentation skills
