Shift Patterns:
Day Shift
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Primarily based within the production area
- Supporting production and packing duties alongside FLT work
Night Shift
5 days out of 7 rota, 7:00pm - 4:00am
- Primarily based within the warehouse
- Focusing on stock movement, loading, unloading, and warehouse operations
Pay Rates:
£13.31 per hour
£8.00 per completed shift on top of the hourly rate
We are currently recruiting for
Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy
meat processing facility in Derby.
This is a varied role where you will split your time between
FLT driving, warehouse duties, production work, and packing activities. We are looking for reliable and hard-working individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.
Duties Include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas
- Packing products ready for dispatch
- Supporting production operations when required
- General warehouse duties and stock movement
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence with recent experience
- Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience preferred
- Comfortable working within a meat processing environment
- Flexible approach to duties
- Good attention to detail and ability to work to food safety standards
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
