GI Pro are recruiting for a CNC Machinist for our precision engineering client based in Coventry. This is a long term position with the opportunity of progression within the company!
The role:
- Working on a range of CNC machines, predominantly lathes
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Operating within a manufacturing environment that specialises in cast iron
- Carrying out self-inspection of work to ensure quality specifications are met
- Reading and using measuring equipment such as comparators, micrometers and calipers
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Person Specification:
- CNC machining experience is essential however any other machining experience would be considered
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Positive and pro-active approach
- Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
