Class 2 Driver - Nottingham

Gi Group are recruiting Class 2 Drivers to support the waste operation of a local authority. If you\'re confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we\'d love to hear from you.

Shift Details:

· Shifts: Monday to Friday - 14:00-22:00

· Pay rate: £16.60 per hour

What we\'re looking for:

· Category C License, DIGI and CPC card

· 12 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles

· Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

Role Accountabilities:

· Carrying out vehicle safety checks and maintenance to ensure legal roadworthiness

· Lead a small crew, give instructions, and manage performance on daily routes

· Using in-cab systems and software to record service delivery and incidents

· Ensure that the health and safety standards and practices are followed

Technical skills:

· Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines

· Be comfortable driving Class 2 vehicles in different areas

· Clear communication skills for working with team members and engaging with the public.

· Flexible and physically fit, able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and in all weather conditions.

· Commitment to high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service, representing the Council positively.
