Gi Group are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Technician based in Birmingham B15. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast‑paced manufacturing environment on a 6‑month assignment.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 15:30, 40 hours per week

Salary: £13.53 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own workload independently in line with the published plan
  • Manage inventory to ensure materials are available and correctly transacted to complete assigned work
  • Own and perform scheduled activities for designated equipment, areas, or functions
  • Proactively identify and implement improvement initiatives in all aspects of work
  • Take full responsibility for your own work, ensuring it is completed 'right first time'
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, laboratory or similar environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to learn quickly, understand and follow instructions
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritise workload effectively

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working in a cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment
  • Experience in workload planning and management
