We're recruiting a skilled
Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy operation in
Sheldon/Yardley. This is a great opportunity for someone confident on a counterbalance truck who takes pride in safe, accurate handling to minimise damage to stock and equipment.
Pay rate
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Friday
7:00pm - 12:00am (midnight)
Key responsibilities
- Operating a
- counterbalance forklift to move, store and pick stock safely and efficiently
- Loading containers correctly to maximise space and ensure secure, compliant loads
- Working accurately to reduce risk of
- damage to stock, racking and equipment
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required, keeping the work area clean and safe
What we're looking for
- 12 months' counterbalance forklift experience (essential)
- Confident, competent forklift operator with a strong focus on safety and care
- Experience using
- long fork attachments (highly desirable)
- Good understanding of
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a PM shift
- Please note this role is 70% Forklift, 30% general warehouse helping with wrapping and preparing parcels for dispatch, keeping areas tidy etc
