- Ensure all drivers have a fridge printout for the journey where required.
- Maintain clear communication with all in‑house departments.
- Log and elevate all vehicle breakdowns, contacting the relevant parties and notifying the Transport Manager so customers can be informed.
- Allocate vehicles against route numbers and keep the tasking spreadsheet and vehicle status board (including VORs) fully up to date.
- Ensure drivers have everything needed to complete their route (e.g., maps, keys, route packs).
- Support legal compliance at all times across driver hours, WTD and vehicles.
- Forward holiday requests and payroll issues to the relevant manager.
