Gi Group is recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join a dynamic production team in Basingstoke. This role involves operating production lines, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating equipment and performing production tasks per SOPs.
- Completing production documentation; recording weights, times, dates, etc.
- Setting up materials, inspecting products, packaging and labeling goods.
- Maintaining clean work areas, following safety protocols, and using PPE.
- Supporting daily production targets and collaborating with the team.
Requirements:
- Secondary Education or equivalent.
- Experience in a lab/manufacturing setting or relevant training.
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel.
- Ability to follow instructions, adapt to changing priorities, and work as part of a team.
- Comfortable with physically active work, including occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience with lithographic printing beneficial, not essential.
