Are you a Press Brake Operator looking for a stable role in a fast‑paced production environment? Our client, a well‑established and growing engineering manufacturer in Banbury, is expanding their production team and looking for a Press Brake Operator to start immediately.
Key responsibilities
- Set, program (as required) and operate Amada press brakes
- Read and work from engineering drawings and bend schedules
- Select tooling, set back gauges, and carry out first-off checks
- Measure and inspect components using basic measuring equipment
- Maintain safe working practices and keep work area tidy
- Support continuous improvement and meet production targets
What we're looking for
- Proven experience setting and operating Amada press brakes (downstroking essential)
- Confident interpreting technical drawings
- Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication and tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and quality
