Role Purpose

To operate a Bendi (Flexi) forklift truck safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store goods within the warehouse, ensuring stock is handled accurately and in line with site health & safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Bendi/Flexi truck to move stock safely within the warehouse, including working in narrow aisles and racking areas.
  • Load and unload deliveries/collections as required, ensuring loads are stable and transported securely.
  • Put away stock into racking locations and complete replenishment tasks to support picking operations.
  • Support Goods In/Goods Out activities: checking quantities, reporting discrepancies/damages, and following site processes.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards: keep aisles clear, dispose of waste correctly, and follow site 5S/clean-as-you-go standards.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures, including PPE, speed limits, pedestrian segregation, and safe stacking guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse operatives, team leaders, and transport teams to meet KPI and dispatch targets.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Valid Bendi/Flexi forklift national licence
  • Confident working at height and in narrow aisles/racking.
  • Strong attention to detail with accurate stock handling.
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physically able to complete manual handling tasks when required.
