GI GROUP is looking for Temp-Perm Warehouse operatives in Atherstone, CV9 2SQ, fixed contracts until March 2027 β relocating to Coalville LE67 after March.
Shift Schedules
- 2pm Shifts
- Selectors β Order Picking using LLOP and Voice Pick (training provided). These are either Chill or Intake (Intake is checking in the goods and scanning/quality checking with some picking for a few hours).
- Logistics Assistants β Loading and Unloading pallets using LLOP.
- Selectors β Order Picking using LLOP and Voice Pick (training provided). These are either Chill or Produce (Produce is heavier items).
Pay Rates
- Selectors
- Start Rate Β£13.10 before 10pm / Β£16.38 after 10pm
- After 12 weeks Β£14.56 before 10pm / Β£18.20 after 10pm
- Start Rate Β£12.21 before 10pm / Β£14.39 after 10pm
- After 12 weeks Β£12.79 before 10pm / Β£15.99 after 10pm
In busy periods there will be opportunity to switch to 5AM/6AM/5PM/9PM start times.

- Physical Fitness β good level of physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy items, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform tasks like standing for long periods.
- Previous experience in Warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail β critical for accurate order picking, inventory management, and avoiding errors.
- Technical Proficiency β comfort and skill with technology, including using hand-held devices, computers, and warehouse management systems to input data or track inventory.
- Communication Skills β excellent verbal and written communication to collaborate with colleagues and managers regarding orders, tasks, and updates.
- Teamwork β the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals and contribute to a productive work atmosphere.
- Listening Skills β the ability to listen carefully and follow instructions accurately.
- Flexibility & Adaptability β the willingness to change and take on a variety of tasks as needed.
2-step process
- Site Tours β Usually Tuesday and Wednesday @2pm for 45 minutes.
- Group Interviews β Usually Wednesday and Thursday evenings @7pm for 1 hour.
