GI Group UK is seeking a professional Class 2 Plant Delivery Driver for a permanent role, to support a well-established, independent local Plant hire and contracting business serving trade and domestic customers across the region.
Main duties
- Load and unload vehicle safely and securely
- Deliver and collect equipment on multi-stop routes
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Maintain professional customer communication on site
- Assist with depot tasks and attend training as required
- Good communication with colleagues and customers
Essential requirements
- Full HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC and tachograph card
- Relevant driving experience
- Mechanical aptitude and basic fault awareness
- Physically fit for manual handling
- Clear communication and good local area knowledge
- Flexible with overtime and depot duties; team player who can work on own initiative
