GHT are a commercial and industrial finishes contractor based in North Bristol. We specialise in partitioning, dry lining, suspended ceilings, acoustic panelling, firestopping and plastering works. We have been operating for 50 years and generally work within a 40-mile radius from Bristol.

The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit a Management Trainee to join our small but highly motivated team. You will be directly involved in the commercial management of projects that we undertake and your responsibilities will be varied and will include:

  • Assisting in preparing tender and contract documentation
  • Contacting suppliers to obtain quotations, procure materials and hire plant
  • Assist and manage the day to day activities of our projects from planning, programming and controlling site activities
  • Ensuring that all aspects of Health & Safety on site are followed and adhered to
  • Information management/record keeping and preparing site progress reports
  • Accurately preparing and issuing valuations to clients
  • Provide a supporting role to senior staff and site based personnel in all disciplines of the company’s activities.
  • General office duties including call handling, data inputting, payroll systems

Essential and desirable Criteria:

  • You’ll need five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades A*-C /9-4 and two of these will need to be in Maths and English Language.
  • Valid clean Driving License

  • Analytical and forward thinking
