- Job Title: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) – Locum Tenens
- Location: Plymouth, MA (02360) – Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel contract)
- Setting: Outpatient hospice case management
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00am–4:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,250 – $2,310
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/22/2025 – End: 12/20/2025)
- Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (excluding on-call time)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required at time of submission)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of hospice nursing experience
- Ability to travel 30–50 miles per day for patient visits
- Must not reside within 50 miles of Plymouth, MA
- Separation from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months (if previously employed as travel, perm, or per diem)
- Flu vaccination required prior to start
Hospice RN Responsibilities
- Conduct 4–5 routine hospice visits per day in facilities and patient homes
- Deliver compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients and families
- Document assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary hospice healthcare team members
- Travel between patient locations within the Plymouth, MA service area
