GHP Transport are recruiting for a HGV Class C Driver to join its transport division, GHP Transport. As part of the GHP team, you will be responsible for making deliveries throughout the UK.
Time and half available on weekends and bank holidays, earnings are subject to how hard you work and it's not capped. Average earnings as a Class 2 Driver £32,000-£40,000; more is possible. Hourly Rate £13.50 and overtime at £18.38 after 46.25 hours. Paid for Driver CPC Training and FOR's Silver Training Qualification WRRR with VR Virtual Reality safe Driving Qualification. PAID DRIVER MEDICAL AND CPC PAID ON SITE AFTER 1 YEAR OF SERVICE. Free Tea and Coffee from the canteen Monday morning.
Ideal Candidate:
- Class 2 (C) licence holders with a valid CPC and Digi card
- No more than 6 points and NO DND
- Early Finish on Friday available
- CPC Training paid for and Medical
- No Weekends needed; it's optional just Monday to Friday
- Minimum 1 year Class 2 experience (due to insurance) or 25 years or older
- Reliable drivers who take pride in their work and keep things moving
- Flexibility to support the operation when required
- You must have previous commercial driving experience and good geographical knowledge
The role will include 4/5 nights out per week and there is an opportunity for overtime. References may be requested upon employment.
