With our innovative sports nutrition and RTD product portfolio growing rapidly within the UK & EU market and the recent launch of UK-based manufacturing of GHOST® ENERGY, we’re now looking to grow our UK fam.

The Deets

National Account Executive , you'll serve a key strategic role in supporting the growth and development of our energy drink brands across all classically defined convenience and forecourt channels.

You will be responsible for managing our relationships with some of the largest wholesalers and forecourt operators, strengthening our partnerships and collaborating with them to grow our distribution.

This role collaborates closely with marketing, leadership, retail, and wholesale partners to further strengthen our position in the UK and EU market during a critical growth phase.

With a mix of strategic planning, project management, and hands-on execution, the National Account Executive plays a vital role in strengthening GHOST’s presence on a national and international basis.

  • Ensure that sales targets are reached and ideally surpassed monthly by promoting the brand through various commercial initiatives and strategies.
  • Work closely with our marketing department to develop bespoke digital and physical marketing materials to support key strategic partners.
  • Manage your own client database on company CRM and input new customer details, sales orders, and provide quotes and invoices.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as budget tracking as well as creating and executing joint business plans for key strategic partners.
  • Attend various PR events as a brand ambassador and promote products/services at key trade and consumer shows, both in the UK & EU.
  • Prepare internal management reports to track your progress against pre-agreed KPI’s.
  • Provide feedback on buying trends, latest product innovations, and closely monitor competitor sales/marketing activity within the energy drinks market in the UK & EU.
  • Provide journey plans and a record of customer visits/meetings and log their outcomes and potential sales opportunities.
  • Manage and record business documentation, including transactions with customers, expense records and mileage logs.
  • This role reports directly to the Head of Sales for the UK & EU, and works closely with our marketing and logistics departments both domestically and in the US.

Requirements

2+ years’ experience in a similar role working in the sports nutrition and/or energy drink market required.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
  • Experienced in territory sales, account management and business development and have proven success of delivering sales and achieving targets.
  • Solutions driven attitude, ready to tackle challenges head on and work collaboratively with colleagues to give the best account of the brand.
  • Balanced sales professional that is focused on customer care whilst also being commercially driven, proactive and tenacious.
  • Natural flair for building and improving good partnerships with both existing and new customers and keeping constant and direct business relationship with these clients.
  • Clean driving license and passport with the ability to travel to the U. S and EU if required.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home office.
  • Effective time management.
  • Ability to travel throughout the UK mainland with an opportunity for occasional attendance at overseas trade shows and conferences.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
