We\’re a design-led agency in the heart of Leamington Spa, and we\’re looking for a talented hybrid Web Designer & Developer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to take full ownership of web projects for a diverse range of clients, from local startups to established names in industries like automotive and agriculture.

End-to-End Impact: You\’ll be involved in the entire project lifecycle, from the initial client conversation and wireframing right through to development and successful launch.

What you\’ll be doing:
Designing & Developing: You will be our go-to expert for designing, building, and maintaining beautiful, responsive websites, primarily using WordPress and Shopify.
Project Ownership: You\’ll manage the full web project lifecycle: defining requirements, creating proposals, wireframing (in Figma/Sketch/XD), developing custom themes, and handling deployment.
Client Communication: Acting as the friendly, expert point of contact for our web clients, you\’ll manage support requests and build lasting relationships via phone and email.
Technical Management: You\’ll manage and maintain our client hosting environments, domains, and email setups, troubleshooting issues and carrying out regular updates to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Staying Ahead: You\’ll keep your skills sharp by staying current with emerging technologies, design trends, and industry best practices to ensure our work is always cutting-edge.
What we are looking for (The Essentials):
Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in web design and/or development. Previous agency experience is a huge plus!
A Strong Portfolio: A compelling portfolio is required, showcasing your skills in both UI/UX design and front-end development. We want to see websites you\’ve personally designed and built.
Platform Expertise: Advanced knowledge of WordPress and Shopify, including theme customisation and site maintenance.
Design Fluency: High proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
A Keen Eye: A passion for clean visual design, pixel-perfect layouts, and meticulous attention to detail.
People Skills: Excellent communication skills with a friendly, confident, and client-first approach.
Salary Expectation:
While we do not disclose a specific salary range, we invite candidates to share their salary expectations in their application. This will help us ensure a mutually beneficial discussion.
Bonus Points (Nice to Haves):
Experience with SEO best practices.
Knowledge of e-commerce conversion rate optimisation (CRO).
Experience with HTML Emails.
API Integration: Experience working with third-party REST APIs to connect websites to other services.
