Grant Handling are actively recruiting for a Workshop Administrator to work within a busy depot environment. You will be responsible for the Administration and Co‑ordination of the workshop.
Core Activities
- Create and process all Work in Progress (WIP) (job cards) in a timely manner including required H & S documentation for the workshop.
- Enter all Timesheet data onto the system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure cost control by checking Timesheets, Job Sheets and Parts Invoices; invoice all completed WIPs in a timely manner while keeping in mind the department’s performance targets.
- Keep the workshop diary and allocate engineer’s jobs.
- Liaise with Sales and Service Departments regarding workshop issues with refurbishments and STR.
- Raise sundry purchase orders and book them as and when required.
- Ensure LOLER inspections have been carried out and are current for all relevant machines in the depot.
- Perform any other related admin duties when required.
Administrative Support to Equipment Preparation Manager
- Submit holiday and sickness documents to HR and update the system diary.
- Update relevant spreadsheets monitoring all engineer H & S requirements.
- Receive, verify, log, and file all incoming sales packs; complete entry once relevant inspections and estimates are received.
- Maintain a monthly record of all KPI’s and KPA documents.
- Perform any other reasonable duties that may be required from time to time within the scope of your knowledge, skills and ability.
