This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cyber Security Analyst located in London. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding the bank’s IT infrastructure by monitoring network activity, identifying and responding to security threats, and implementing measures to prevent intrusions. Daily tasks include performing security analysis, securing applications, ensuring compliance with network security protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks. The role will involve analysing security data and developing strategies to enhance the organization’s cybersecurity posture.

Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 5 years experience in Checkpoint Firewall, F5, WAF/CDN technologies
  • Proficiency in Cyber Security tools like EDR, SIEM are a plus
  • Expertise in Application Security and Cybersecurity methodologies
  • Proficiency in Network Security management and monitoring
  • Excellent Analytical Skills for assessing risks and identifying vulnerabilities
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM or equivalent are advantageous
  • Knowledge of financial services and regulatory compliance is a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot and take ownership of problems - related and unrelated to security to see through to resolution is a must, we are looking for a high value team player with a positive approach.
