We’re expanding our Structures team in the Naval Division to join us in Belfast.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participation in new shipbuilding projects during the basic and detailed engineering phases within the Structures discipline.
- 2D and 3D design of naval structures.
- Equipment arrangement based on interpretation of schematics and basic engineering data.
- Development and detailing of construction drawings for new shipbuilding projects.
- Structural analysis and steel calculations.
- Collaboration with other departments within the area.
What do you need to join the team?
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Naval Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the naval sector, specifically in the structures discipline.
- Experience with software tools such as ANSYS, FORAN, or AVEVA 3D.
