The Role
We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to lead the MEP delivery of our flagship residential development, The HiLight, in Battersea. This is a client-side role with full responsibility for managing M&E design, procurement and delivery — from pre-construction through commissioning and handover. You will play a critical role in ensuring the building performs exactly as designed, meeting the highest standards of quality, compliance and resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage M&E design, coordination and delivery across all project stages
- Manage consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure aligned and efficient delivery
- Drive programme, quality and statutory compliance, including Gateway 2 requirements
- Oversee procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and handover of all M&E systems
- Ensure effective coordination of M&E works with wider construction activities on site
- Proactively manage risk, interfaces and technical challenges
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing site culture
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an M&E Project Manager role on large residential schemes
- Degree in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong working knowledge of UK regulations, compliance frameworks and site delivery
- Professional memberships or certifications (desirable)
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex programmes
