As a Systems Engineer you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex products in a dynamic and collaborative environment. We are seeking a proactive and inquisitive individual with strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work across disciplines to ensure the success of our projects.

This role will be based in our Cambridge R&D Facility.
Job Role and Responsibilities
- Hands‑On Skills: Utilise hands‑on skills to build, test, and troubleshoot complex systems.
- Inquisitive and Questioning: Demonstrate curiosity and the ability to ask critical questions to ensure a deep understanding of project requirements.
- Separation of Concerns and System Decomposition: Break down complex systems into manageable components, ensuring clear separation of concerns and facilitating efficient system design.
- Designing Experiments to Isolate Root Cause: Develop testing strategies and protocols to isolate root causes of system issues and drive effective problem resolution.
- Understanding Data: Analyse and interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations for system improvements.
- Requirements & DFMEA: Work closely with cross‑functional teams to define project requirements and perform Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) to identify potential risks and weaknesses in the system.
- CAD & Modelling: Utilize Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) software and modelling tools to create detailed system designs and prototypes.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
