JOB ROLE
AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supply Planner:
- Oversee product supply from manufacturers to meet demand, using planning systems Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) and Blue Yonder (BY)
- Accountability for global stock availability, plan the production schedule for each manufacturer
- Review and release purchase requisitions to maintain target stock levels in market
- Present supply plans in S&OP reviews
- Ensure stock delivery and track performance
- Resolve supply issues and maintain accurate system data
- Lead the resolution of supply issues as they arise, agreeing actions with the manufacturers and the ghd teams in the UK and Hong Kong
- Prevent excess/obsolete inventory and raise ad hoc POs
Supply Planner (Kitting):
- Liaise with third‑party kitting suppliers
- Manage weekly planning and maintain accurate forecasts
- Ensure alignment with market stock levels and launch plans
- Maintain system data and stock accuracy
- Coordinate packaging procurement and handle invoice queries
Supply Planner (Innovations):
- Plan supply for new products and Limited Editions
- Responsible for agreeing the Supply Chain approach to each new product launch.
- Represent Supply Chain in NPD projects
- Coordinate cross‑functional launch activities
- Ensure smooth flow from manufacturing through kitting to deployment to market
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong supplier and stakeholder management
- Customer Service Orientation
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
- Detail‑oriented with a problem‑solving mindset
- Adaptable and capable of working both independently and in teams
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with MSD and BY preferred
