ghd is excited to launch the ghd Skills Studio, a one‑week immersive work experience programme designed for university students looking to gain hands‑on exposure inside a globally renowned beauty‑tech brand. Over five days, you will meet our teams, take part in structured learning activities, and gain real insight into how ghd operates across multiple business areas. This programme is designed for students looking to build commercial understanding, develop practical skills, and strengthen their career prospects.
What you can expect:
- Participate in workshops and learning sessions delivered by ghd industry experts
- Shadow employees across various teams to understand day‑to‑day business operations
- Create engaging social content for ghd channels as part of a group project
- Attend site visits to a Retail store and our Cambridge R&D centre
- Present project outcomes to ghd leaders
- Collaborate with fellow students and contribute to group activities
During the week, you will gain exposure across several core departments, including:
- Marketing
- Brand Communications
- Digital Analytics
- eCommerce
- Supply chain
- Product R&D
To apply, you must:
- Be 18 years or older
- Be available in person in London between 9am–5pm from 13th – 17th July 2026
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be currently enrolled in a university degree related to Marketing, Communications, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Science
- Be willing to create social media content for ghd (own phone/laptop preferred but not essential)
- Agree that ghd may use your name, photo, and course/university details to promote the programme internally and externally
- Be willing to be contacted for up to 1 year following the programme for occasional consumer surveys and focus groups
- Be an active and enthusiastic user of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok or YouTube
