What is a ghd Business Development Manager?
This is a field-based role managing the day-to-day relationships with ghdβs salon account base throughout Manchester. The role nurtures client relationships focusing on understanding their business, challenges and goals and maximising value through partnering with ghd.
Business Development Managers focus on 4 key areas: EXISTING BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT & GROWTH, NEW BUSINESS ACQUISITION and CUSTOMER SERVICE and are responsible for the following:
- Nurturing and developing relationships with an existing account base to achieve set company targets
- Assisting accounts with sell-through initiatives, education & training and visual merchandising
- Creating and managing a territory journey plan
- Completing territory forecasting on a weekly & monthly basis
- Prospecting salons within the territory to secure new business
- Continually strive for sales excellence by providing outstanding customer service to all accounts
About You:
- You have proven success as an account manager with field-based sales experience.
- You are results-driven with a history of hitting and exceeding service and sales-based targets
- You have a positive and resilient personality with a self-motivated autonomous approach to work
- You are analytical, numerical, and well organised with sound skills in the Microsoft Office suite.
- You have a passion for the hair & beauty industry and fostering relationships!
- You hold a valid UK driving license.
