ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Junior CGI Artist will support the Senior CGI Artist and wider Design team in delivering high-quality product visualisation aligned with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

Working closely with Industrial Design and Marketing teams, this role focuses on the creation of photorealistic renders, preparation of 3D assets, and maintenance of structured asset libraries.

Based within a cross-functional environment, this position provides hands‑on experience across rendering, CAD processing, and visual asset production, supporting projects from initial brief through to final delivery.

LOCATION

This role will be based in our London (Soho) office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Rendering & Visualisation

  • Support the creation of high-quality product renders using Key Shot and Cinema 4D, in line with brand standards
  • Assist in lighting, material, and camera setup for still imagery and animations
  • Produce draft visuals, mock‑ups, and presentation imagery for internal and marketing reviews
  • Iterate on visuals based on structured feedback from Marketing and Design Team Support delivery of assets for product launches, campaigns, and e-commerce
  • Maintain Key Shot and Cinema4D asset library (Models, materials, textures etc.)

3D Asset creation & Management

  • Organise and maintain Key Shot asset libraries (materials, environments, textures, models)
  • Assist in building and standardising reusable asset libraries for efficient workflows
  • Ensure files are named, structured, and stored according to studio standards
  • Support version control and updates of existing assets
  • Import and clean up CAD data for rendering (optimisation, topology cleanup, hierarchy organisation)
  • Prepare geometry for efficient rendering workflows in Key Shot and Cinema 4D
  • Apply materials and ensure consistency with brand CMF (Colour, Material, Finish)
  • Support scene setup including cameras, lighting, and composition

Workflow & Collaboration

  • Support projects from brief through to final delivery alongside senior artists and designers
  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to ensure visual consistency
  • Assist with ad‑hoc visual requests including internal presentations and concept visuals
  • Take feedback constructively and implement changes efficiently
  • Maintain and improve asset libraries and workflow efficiency
  • Stay updated on rendering techniques, tools, and industry trends
  • Support exploration of new tools, materials, and visual styles
  • Assist in optimising rendering processes and file management systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in 3D Design, Animation, Computer Graphics, or similar
  • Strong interest in product visualisation, lighting, and materials
  • Working knowledge of Key Shot
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Cinema 4D
  • Understanding of Redshift (advantageous but not essential)
  • Familiarity with CAD data and 3D geometry handling
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and After Effects (Illustrator a plus)
  • Good eye for detail, composition, and realism
  • Ability to communicate ideas through visuals and renders
  • Organised approach to file and asset management
  • Willingness to learn technical workflows and pipelines
  • Positive attitude toward feedback and collaboration
