About the Role
Are you a skilled Civil Technician with a passion for precision, collaboration, and innovation? GHD is seeking a Senior Civil Technician to join our dynamic team in the UK. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality engineering design documentation across a wide range of infrastructure projects. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project stakeholders to ensure that every project is delivered to the highest standards - on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver accurate and high-quality engineering design documentation in line with GHD and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop the best solutions for clients.
- Manage your workload to meet project deadlines and budget requirements.
- Apply a strong understanding of HSEQ principles, including CDM regulations.
- Support and mentor junior team members, contributing to their professional development.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D, including: Surface modelling, Pipe networks, Corridor modelling, Cut and fill, Profiles and grading.
- Familiarity with other Autodesk Design Suite tools; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Experience working within Common Data Environments (CDEs) and BIM systems.
- Strong understanding of relevant client and industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Achieved or working towards EngTech accreditation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive approach to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
