Your Role: What You'll Do

  • Provide Senior Technical Authority
    • Act as technical lead and sign-off authority for major regulated power and utilities engagements.
    • Set and assure technical methodologies, frameworks, and governance across the practice.
    • Lead and review work spanning electricity networks, regulation, renewables integration, system operability, and resilience.
    • Provide authoritative advice to clients at executive, regulator, and board level.
  • Lead Client Engagement & Market Growth
    • Build and expand senior relationships across utilities, regulators, system operators, and government bodies.
    • Operate as a seller-doer, shaping, winning, and delivering high-value advisory work.
    • Strengthen GHD's profile and credibility in UK and international regulated energy markets.
  • Drive Delivery Excellence
    • Lead multi-million-pound consulting engagements from bid through to delivery.
    • Ensure excellence in quality, compliance, commercial performance, and client satisfaction.
    • Contribute to long-term programmes across regulatory strategy, network development, and future energy systems.
  • Develop People & Capability
    • Mentor senior engineers, consultants, and emerging leaders across Energy Solutions.
