About you
Reporting directly to the Retail Operations Manager, you will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining detailed technical drawings to support new store openings, refurbishments and ongoing layout optimisation across our retail network.
A day in the life
As a Retail Concept & Development Coordinator, your daily tasks may include:
- Managing international and domestic procurement processes including sourcing, ordering and determining delivery milestones
- Collaborating with internal and external business stakeholders to drive cost efficiencies and quality improvements
- Assisting with fixture design, retail concepts, and store layout development
- Preparing and maintaining technical drawings and documentation
- Obtaining and managing permits and approvals
- Designing and delivering critical path checklists for store openings, refurbishments and upgrades
- Supporting multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring timely delivery and the achievement of operational standards
An ideal addition to the #GhandaGang will possess:
- Previous experience in retail development, store delivery, construction coordination, or interior design
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the confidence to liaise directly with internal and external business stakeholders
- Tertiary qualifications in Building Design, Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design or similar - although not a deal-breaker. At Ghanda, we value the right attitude over experience!
