A leading infrastructure and power contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of major energy and battery storage projects across Scotland.
This role will support large scale power and BESS developments, working closely with operational and commercial teams across projects in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Devilla, and the Shetland Islands.
Responsibilities- Manage commercial and contractual aspects of multiple infrastructure and battery storage projects
- Prepare and manage applications for payment, valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs, forecasts, and commercial performance
- Support subcontract procurement, negotiation, and contract administration
- Work closely with operational teams to manage risk and maximise project profitability
- Prepare commercial reporting for senior leadership and project stakeholders
- Support dispute resolution and contractual negotiations where required
- Ensure compliance with NEC and other standard forms of contract
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities, power, or renewable energy projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts
- Experience managing commercial aspects of complex civil, power, or energy projects
- Ability to operate across multiple project sites and stakeholder groups
- Strong communication and commercial management skills
- Full UK driving licence preferred
