Times: 7 am to 7 pm / 7 pm to 7 am
GH Engage are seeking a Critical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile site within a critical environment in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation offering strong career development, structured training, and exposure to complex building services systems.
Duties as Critical Shift Engineer:
- Operating and fault finding on complex M&E systems
- Working on electrical distribution, UPS, generators, and associated plant
- Maintaining cooling systems including chillers, CRAC/CRAH units and pumps
- Monitoring and operating via BMS systems
- Carrying out switching operations and supporting planned shutdowns
- Assisting with the development of SOPs, EOPs and operational procedures
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSE and site compliance standards
Critical Shift Engineer – Requirements:
- City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- Experience within a critical or commercial maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical building services
- Experience with switching operations (LV or HV preferred)
- Proactive, hands-on approach with strong fault-finding ability
