A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Engineer to join a Tier One M&E Building Services Contractor delivering major projects across the UK. The contractor has secured a strong pipeline of work with leading main contractors, with confirmed workload in place through to 2029. Their schemes span both the commercial and residential sectors, with MEP values reaching up to £40 million.
Due to continued business growth and a full order book, the company is now looking to strengthen its technical team by appointing an established Technical Engineer with a strong mechanical bias who is keen to progress within a structured and forward-thinking environment. The successful individual will be based out of Northampton, operating in a national role and travelling between projects across London, the Midlands and the North. This is a permanent position.
I am keen to speak with individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience as a Technical Engineer with a mechanical bias
- Background working for either an M&E contractor or a manufacturer
- Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems including HVAC, pipework, plant and associated equipment
- Able to provide technical support across multiple live projects and resolve complex site and design issues
- A strong problem solver, capable of identifying practical solutions and overcoming technical challenges
- Comfortable liaising with site teams, consultants, manufacturers and clients
- Experience working within structured, programme-driven environments
