Salary: Up to £120,000 per annum + Bonus + Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and grow engineering teams within the assigned region to meet the needs of the projects.
  • Drive the standardisation of engineering practices and documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs across all regional projects.
  • Collaborate with Regional Operations and Commercial Directors to coordinate engineering support for project planning, execution, and close-out.
  • Contribute to tendering activities by reviewing technical scope, supporting resourcing plans, and ensuring clarity on engineering requirements.
  • Represent the engineering function in client meetings, reviews, and engagements, upholding a culture of respect, teamwork, and technical integrity.
  • Allocate engineering resources effectively across the regional project portfolio to meet delivery timelines and support team wellbeing.
  • Support team development through structured mentoring, CPD tracking, and a focus on continuous improvement and learning.
  • Promote and embed a safety-first culture across all engineering activities.

Requirements:

  • Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; Master’s degree or Chartered status is an advantage.
  • 8–10 years of experience in HV, EPC, or utility engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership or regional management role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams and driving technical standards across multiple projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and engage internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the full project lifecycle in high-voltage or complex infrastructure environments.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as needed to support projects and teams.
