We are looking for an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor to join our mission-critical project in Slough, Reading. This position will play a major role in the delivery of a key project in the Slough area.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CSA Quantity Surveyor to join our mission-critical project team in the UK. The successful applicant will work closely with the project leadership team and wider Commercial department to ensure the successful delivery of the project for our clients and stakeholders.

Key Tasks

  • Provide commercial and contractual administration support to the Commercial Manager
  • Undertake internal valuations and produce cost reports
  • Support the management of subcontract packages and oversee payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consultants
  • Prepare remeasures and variations for submission and agreement with clients
  • Report on project budgets and variations
  • Distribute and track invoices for approval by project owners/leads
  • Respond to and resolve enquiries from suppliers, procurement and finance departments (including monthly accruals) in a professional and timely manner

Key Qualifications Required

  • CSA or tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in the construction sector
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly present findings
  • High level of computer literacy, including experience with relevant estimating software
  • Good communication skills for internal and external liaison
  • Ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets
  • Meticulous approach to take-offs and pricing to ensure accuracy
