GH Engage are seeking a Critical Shift Engineer to join a high-profile site within a critical environment in East London. Duties as Critical Shift Engineer:

  • Operating and fault finding on complex M&E systems
  • Working on electrical distribution, UPS, generators, and associated plant
  • Maintaining cooling systems including chillers, CRAC/CRAH units and pumps
  • Monitoring and operating via BMS systems
  • Carrying out switching operations and supporting planned shutdowns
  • Assisting with the development of SOPs, EOPs and operational procedures
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with HSE and site compliance standards

Critical Shift Engineer – Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience within a critical or commercial maintenance environment
  • Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical building services
  • Experience with switching operations (LV or HV preferred)
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with strong fault-finding ability
