Critical Shift Engineer - Data Centre Maintenance
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Critical Shift Engineer to join a leading owner and operator of critical infrastructure, delivering engineering maintenance within a state-of-the-art Data Centre Maintenance environment in Northwest Surrey.
Working a continental days & nights shift pattern (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am), this Critical Shift Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and fault-finding of critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime across a highly resilient facility.
The successful Critical Shift Engineer will ideally have previous experience within Data Centre Maintenance or another critical environment. This is an excellent opportunity to move client-side, with outstanding training, progression and benefits at a critical facility in Northwest Surrey.
Requirements
- City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Data centre or critical environment experience preferred
- Experience with UPS, generators, transformers, LV distribution, BMS and critical cooling systems
- LVAP/HVAP experience highly desirable
- Experience with HV/LV switching, SOPs, EOPs and critical procedures
- Strong fault-finding and technical skills
