A rare opportunity has become available for a Mechanical Estimator to join one of the region’s most successful and fast-growing Building Services contractors. With further expansion planned, they are now looking to invest in their pre-construction team by bringing in an additional Mechanical Estimator.
The company delivers high-value residential, mixed-use and commercial developments for a number of well-known developers and Tier One contractors, regularly working on schemes with MEP packages in excess of £20 million. This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Estimator who enjoys being involved in technically challenging tenders and wants to join a business where there is genuine opportunity to develop and progress.
They are particularly keen to speak with individuals who have a solid mechanical estimating background but have either already gained some electrical exposure or are interested in developing this further as part of the role.
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Estimator within Building Services or an M&E contractor
- A track record of pricing major residential, mixed-use or commercial schemes
- Experience dealing with leading developers, consultants and main contractors
- Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework, plant and public health installations
- Some knowledge of electrical packages, or a desire to gain further experience in this area
In return, the company can offer a long-term career move with a business that is continuing to grow, alongside genuine opportunities for progression, a supportive team environment and involvement in some of the most notable projects in the market. The position is permanent and, after an initial six-month period in the office, there will be flexibility to work on a hybrid basis.
