Are you a fully qualified HVAC or Plumbing Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience working within commercial office environments? Do you want to work in an end-user, client-side role?
Due to our client’s contract expansion, GH Engage is currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work within a high-end corporate/critical premises within the City of London carrying out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance within a team of engineers. This role is working on a Monday to Friday basis. There is no call out on the contract but there is available paid overtime.
Duties:- Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
- Mechanical Duties: Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing, AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans, Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls), Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls), Carrying out maintenance on VRVs/VRFs.
- Plumbing maintenance; Small plumbing jobs, dead leg removal, Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems, Chilled Water systems, Water flushing, Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature.
- Electrical Duties: Lighting – lamp changes, ballast changes, simmtronic/Phillips lighting, Emergency light testing, Power distribution, Electrical fault-finding, Small works – new sockets, new lights, new circuits, PAT Testing.
- Updating site log books.
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared and used for all tasks.
- Escorting sub-contractors, reviewing risk assessments, and issuing permits.
- TOTAL take-home pay (before overtime) £48,825: £46,500 £2,325 bonus £1,500 allowance for AP status (HV / Pressure systems).
